Arthur W. Kellum, Jr., 84, of Burlington, died at 11:59 PM Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at his home.
Born October 1, 1936, in Memphis, TN, he was the son of Arthur W. and Carrie DeMarr Kellum. On August 29, 2014 he married Daria Cecile Pride-Marshall in St. Louis, MO.
Arthur worked as a machine specialist in machinery manufacturing for Murray Iron Works for 27 years before retirement.
He graduated from Hadley Technical High School in St. Louis, MO.
Arthur was a member of the Greater Hope Missionary Baptist Church and First Church of the Nazarene. He served as a Deacon at Greater Hope Missionary Baptist Church. He was always busy working with his hands. He enjoyed working on engines, doing construction projects, he was an avid fisherman and enjoyed camping outdoors.
Survivors include his wife, Daria Cecile Marshall-Kellum of Burlington, two sons, Arthur W. Kellum, III of El Paso, TX and Kenzie Brian Kellum of Burlington, one daughter, Danielle DeMarr Kellum of Burlington, seven grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; brother, Tony Kellum of Clinton, MO, two sisters, Arthella Kellum of St. Louis, MO and Carolyn Robinson of St. Louis, MO and several nieces and nephews and cousins.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.
There will be no visitation or services. Burial will be held at a later date in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
